Dental Fillings

Byford Dental replaces old fillings with Metal Free alternative Restorations meaning “No Mercury or Amalgam”

White fillings also known as composites are made of a tooth-coloured combination of plastic and glass compound. Composites are also used for cosmetic improvements of the smile by changing the colour of the teeth or reshaping disfigured teeth.

What Are Composite Fillings?

Aesthetics are the main advantage of composites, since dentists can blend shades to create a colour nearly identical colour tone to that of the actual tooth.

Composites bond to the tooth to reinforce and support the remaining tooth structure, which helps to prevent breakage and insulate the tooth from excessive temperature changes.

Due to the ongoing construction of the new Byford Train Station there is extensive work now commenced around our clinic. Please access our parking via Southwestern Hwy only and allow additional travel time to appointments in case of delays.
