We are conveniently located at:
809 South Western Highway, Byford WA 6122
You’ll find us in the same complex as Byford Family Practice, near Chicken Treat.
We provide quality general dental care for individuals and families within our local community.
If specialist treatment is required and outside the scope of our clinic, we will happily support you in finding the most suitable provider for your needs.
We understand dental emergencies can be stressful and often happen unexpectedly.
Our team always does its best to assist patients requiring urgent care whenever appointment availability allows.
If we are unable to offer an immediate appointment, we highly encourage joining our standby list.
Appointment availability can change regularly throughout the day due to cancellations, rescheduling and unforeseen circumstances.
Our caring team actively manages these changes and works hard to contact standby patients as soon as appointments become available.
What if I need after-hours emergency dental care?
If you require urgent dental care outside our operating hours, we recommend contacting:
- Emergency Dentist Perth
- Lifecare Dental Perth
- Your nearest Dental Health Services clinic
If you are experiencing severe swelling, difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding or a medical emergency, please attend your nearest emergency department or call (08) 9525 0550 immediately.
We understand that plans can change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully ask for at least:
24 HOURS NOTICE
Providing notice allows us the opportunity to offer that appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care or hoping to be seen urgently.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us care for our community.
Please contact the practice as soon as possible if you are running late for your appointment.
Late arrival may result in:
- Reduced treatment time
- Rescheduling of your appointment
- Additional wait times
We appreciate your understanding as we strive to remain on schedule for all patients.
Payment is required on the day of treatment unless prior arrangements have been made.
We accept:
- EFTPOS
- Visa & Mastercard
- Cash
- HICAPS Health Fund Claims
- Afterpay / Zip / Payment Plans (where applicable)
If you have any questions regarding fees or payment options, our team is always happy to help.
Yes — we accept all major health funds where dental cover applies.
As every fund and level of cover is different, we recommend contacting your health fund directly for details relating to your policy and available benefits.
Please note that for privacy reasons, we are unable to access individual policy information.
A physical or digital health fund card must be presented at the time of your appointment to process on-the-
spot claims.
If this cannot be provided, full payment will be required on the day, and you may then claim directly with your fund.
If your child may be eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), we recommend contacting Medicare directly for further information regarding eligibility and available benefits.
For your safety, please let our team know if there have been any changes to:
- Medical conditions
- Medications
- Allergies
- Pregnancy status
- Emergency contacts

Treatment Plans & Quotes
Dental treatment is tailored to each patient’s individual needs. In some cases, additional treatment may be recommended following a clinical examination or diagnostic imaging. If this occurs, any associated fees will be discussed with you before treatment proceeds wherever possible.
Questions about Costs?
Important Information about Treatment Estimates
The fees listed in this guide are intended as general estimates only and should not be considered a definitive quotation for treatment.
Information provided by reception staff over the phone, by email, through social media, or in person prior to an examination is based on the limited information available at the time. As dental conditions can vary significantly between patients, an accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendation can only be made following a clinical assessment by the dentist.
The final cost of treatment may vary depending on factors including:
• The complexity of the procedure
• The condition of the tooth or surrounding tissues
• Additional treatment required to achieve the best clinical outcome
• Diagnostic findings identified during examination or radiographs
• Materials and laboratory requirements
Where treatment costs are expected to differ significantly from an initial estimate, these will be discussed with the patient before treatment proceeds wherever possible.
Reception staff are not qualified to diagnose dental conditions and can only provide general fee estimates based on typical treatment requirements.
At Byford Dental Centre, we are committed to providing high-quality dental care and a positive experience for every patient.
If you have any questions, concerns or are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment or experience, we encourage you to let us know.
